The Alchemy of the Senses, the book

Winemaking as a source of creative inspiration – it has always been a dream for Jean-Charles Boisset to create a book about wine that doesn’t talk about tannins and barrels, but which widens its scope out to include emotion and fantasy. Wine is living and vibrant. It carries a memory and is tackled here like a powerful elixir that has the power to transport us into other dimensions.

It is in this spirit that the passionate Jean-Charles has created “L’Alchimie des Sens”. It is more than just a book: It is an intimate experience, a dreamlike and sensorial journey that reflects your emotions inspired by wine in its infinite expressions.

This spectacular book, which was published in December, is now being presented during a tour of different cities in the USA to guests invited to explore the world of wine through Jean-Charles’s highly personal vision and a certain art de vivre. This includes a range of experiences involving the five senses that showcase the creations of Boisset and its partners, including private dinners, wine discovery sessions, and blending workshops.
