Arbois - Jura Since 1986
The history of the Tissot wine house is closely linked to the village of Nevy sur Seille, at the foot of the Château-Chalon Mountain in the very heart of the Jura vineyard. In 1986, Joseph Tissot sold wines from his own vineyards around the village, before joining forces with neighboring winegrowers who became loyal partners over the years. Today is name is synonymous with the wines of the Jura region.
The success of this famous Tissot family is due to more than 11 generations of inherited wine-growing tradition, unconditional respect for the Jura terroir, and continued commitment to introducing this unique wine region to vintage wine lovers.
Now Maison Michel Tissot & Fils is one of the great names in Jura winegrowing, proud of its roots and the authentic character of its wines, representing the great diversity of this small vineyard.
