The 2022 vintage’s finest appellations

Five appellations are full of promise: in Côte de Beaune, the Santenay Premier Cru Passetemps and Corton-Charlemagne whites, and the Aloxe-Corton premier cru Valozières red, along with the return of the Volnay Premier Cru Santenots red, which has the unique distinction of being produced in the commune of Meursault.

Marsannay Blanc continues to be a Côte de Nuits bestseller, a white wine grown on a terroir with a long history of red wines.

The 2022 vintage has been hailed as exceptional, and tastings of wines still maturing at Jean-Claude Boisset, where they spend two winters in the cellar, confirm this. With highly concentrated reds and outstanding whites, this is undoubtedly a vintage worthy of cellaring.

Founded in 1961, Maison Jean-Claude Boisset produces the equivalent of a 40-hectare estate. It offers a range of Burgundy wines, focusing in particular on the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Wines display a natural style that is clean, precise, silky and resolutely fruity. Some forty original and unique cuvées constitute a Collection inspired by the mosaic of Burgundy’s climates in their most natural expression.
