Cicada enlivens the shelves
The Villa Moncigale brand of premium rosé wines from Provence
will be hitting the shelves of French supermarkets in 2024
with the release of a Côtes-de-Provence Cicada L’Éveil and
a Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence Cicada la Légende.
Moncigale wines have been an ode to Provence rosés since 1921. With
Villa Moncigale, the brand unveils a stunning collection showcasing the
terroirs surrounding Montagne Sainte-Victoire (1011 m). Here, the climate
is cooler than in coastal Provence. The vines thrive on deep clay-limestone
soils, yielding concentrated, rich berries that guarantee structure on the
palate and aromatic freshness.
