USA AGENDA BIODYNAMIC CULTIVATION HITS CALIFORNIA! A conference on biodynamic cultivation in San Francisco would be hard to imagine without the support of Boisset Collection, deeply involved in this approach through DeLoach Vineyards in Sonoma and Raymond Vineyards in Napa. More than 600 producers, enologists, journalists, and scientists spent two days taking part in conferences and debates on biodynamic practices. Jean-Charles Boisset gave a speech, and during the main tasting, presented wines including Raymond District Collection Cabernet and Merlot, Raymond 1 1/2 Acres, DeLoach Estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and DeLoach Maboroshi Pinot Noir, all produced with a biodynamic approach. biodynamicwineconference.org A NEW JCB SALON OPENS IN HEALDSBURG Healdsburg, a charming little town in the heart of Sonoma, is home to a new JCB Salon, a space dedicated to lifestyle, wine, and gastronomy. For Jean-Charles Boisset, wine is intimately linked with these elements. The salon offers tastings of wines from the JCB By Jean-Charles Boisset range. Food and wine pairings have been designed in partnership with the Atelier Fine Foods in Yountville, which opened in 2016. The 38th edition of Napa Valley Vintners, which took place on 6 March, set a new record for generosity, raising $13.6 million. The money is destined to help a community of more than 100,000 families in Napa, supporting projects in the areas of health and education. Among the stand-out bids, lot N°24, “Three Stars” promises an exceptional dinner in September for 25 people prepared by starred chefs in the Napa Valley Reserve, with wines from JCB by Jean-Charles and Raymond Vineyards, with each participant receiving a set of the limited-edition crystal glasses and carafe JCB The One by Baccarat.
