To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the landing in Normandy on June 6, 1944 (D-Day), Boisset Collection presents its new cuvée called "6.6.44", a tribute to all those who have united in the defence of peace and freedom.
Born from the combination of our French and American wineries, this wine offers a magnificent blend of grapes from the Napa Valley appellations, especially Rutherford and Saint-Helena, and the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, as well as grapes from the Rhône and Languedoc regions.
Jean-Charles Boisset presented this cuvée today on the KTVU channel and paid a very fine tribute to his grandparents who served in the Resistance and forged a close relationship with the American soldiers who came to help them.
